Fishing in the Louron Valley
The Vallée de Louron is also a paradise for fishermen!
Experts or beginners, the lakes and streams never cease to tease the fish. It is good to know, the higher you climb, the more professional are the courses!
The River Neste
During the 20km of its course, indisputably the trout reigns. A small fishing area for children has even been created at Loudenvielle in the Moulin de Saoussas.
Be careful, fishing is regulated under the supervision of "la Gaule Louronnaise" A.P.P.M.A. linked to the French Fishing Federation.
Costs:
In order to fish you need a national permit plus an additional stamp costing €82.
An introductory ladies card costs €30 for the season starting on June 1st.
If you do not have a national permit, a holiday permit lasting 15 days can be purchased for €30.
A one day permit costs €10.
In all events, it is necessary to add the Gaule Louronnaise supplement:
- 1 day : €6
- 7 consecutive days : €25
- 15 consecutive days : €32
For children:
Beginners card for under 12’s : €2 whole season
Young people 12 to 18 years old : €20 whole season
For these last two formulae, there is no Gaule Louronnaise supplement.
