We have realized that many tourists who come to the valley don’t know much about hiking. Although it may look like a simple activity, it requires some learning to choose the right route, not to get lost…

Given the increasing interest in this discipline, a “Station de Randonnée” (hiking station) has been created for everyone to enjoy mountain walking for free in our 100 km of well-marked paths.

Thanks to our classification of 20 paths that have been signposted all over the valley you can choose among green, blue, red or black graded trails to do on foot, on a bike or on a horse.

Legend :

20 paths classified by their difficulty :

  • 5 green paths : less than 2 hrs. Family walk.
  • 5 blue paths : less than 3 hrs. Longer familiy walk.
  • 5 red paths : less than 4 hrs.  For regular hikers.
  • 5 black paths : more than 4 hrs. For experienced hikers and sportspeople.

All this routes offer wonderful landscapes. They are all signposted and feature pic-nic areas, orientation boards, patrimony explanations...

in addition, the chairlift of Myrtilles in Val Louron makes some of the itineraries 2 hours shorter.
