Our commitments to visitors, residents, and partners
The Tourism Office of the Upper Louron Valley promotes values of sustainability and quality in its actions and services, with the aim of encouraging tourism that has a positive impact and finding a balance between visitors, local residents, and tourism professionals.
To achieve this, the entire team is committed to providing high-quality visitor services and building a more sustainable, inclusive, and diverse destination.
Tourist Offices are classified into different categories depending on the size of their territory, tourist numbers, and the range of services offered.
Category I is the highest level for a Tourist Office. It corresponds to a large-scale office providing high-quality services, and this is the category we have in Loudenvielle.
Destination of Excellence: Quality Tourism + CSR
The “Quality Tourism” label is evolving into “Destination of Excellence,” reflecting a new vision for tourism in France. This transition aims to meet the growing expectations of visitors while aligning with key sector challenges: more sustainable, more inclusive tourism, always focused on excellence.
Among the major changes, the introduction of an eco-responsible pillar requires concrete actions to reduce the environmental impact of establishments.
Toursim and disability
Tourism & Disability is a label that identifies establishments meeting the specific needs of tourists with disabilities, whether hearing, intellectual, motor, or visual.
The Louron Valley Tourist Office, located in Loudenvielle, has been awarded the Tourism & Disability label and is accessible to people with reduced mobility (PRM).
Accueil Vélo
What is the Accueil Vélo label?
It's a national label that guarantees a welcome, services, and specific facilities adapted to the needs of cyclists. It allows cyclists to identify establishments and places suitable for cycling tourism, and thus benefit from appropriate services and a warm welcome.
